Distribution of electric power presents its own unique set of risks and challenges that N Line electricians are trained to tackle.
In distributing electric power, our electricians typically must work with both high- and medium-voltage lines. Often their work entails creating the connections that convert high- and medium-voltage currents to medium- and low-voltage which can be used in homes, businesses, and other facilities.
Working with high- and medium-voltage lines is inherently dangerous – electricians working with these levels of voltage can face serious injury or death.
With such high stakes, it is our duty to supply our electricians with their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and the proper training to effectively handle any and all situations, with an emphasis on mitigation of risk.

As with distribution, substation construction means working primarily with medium- and high- voltage lines and equipment. This poses great risk both during and after construction of the substation.
N Line Electric contractors are familiar with the risks involved, and are trained to handle and ensure substation construction safety.
When the substation is complete, it will be compliant with all state and federal regulations, and will be have all necessary – and them some – precautions to ensure that the site remains safe.

First Aid/CPR Training: Every N Line electrician is certified in both First Aid and CPR. They undergo re-certification compliant to both state and federal regulations.
OSHA: Our electricians are also required to attend at least a 10-hour OSHA training session, and many have completed 30-hour courses.
NFPA 70E Training: Our electricians are required to attend this training by the National Fire Protection Association every three years. NFPA 70E focuses on safety concerns and best practices for electricians working in commercial and industrial settings.
The standards and training created by the NFPA keep our electricians alert to potential hazards, able to assess risk quickly and appropriately, and to maintain an electrically safe work site.
