Project Scope: This project required us to install a new pad mount switching station to the CSU electrical system which entailed working with the City of Ft. Collins to bring in a new feeder from their substation. Our knowledge of the building substations was key to landing this project. Colorado State University relied on N Line Electric to intercept campus underground feeders and reroute them into the new switchgear along with adding new feeders to the campus system. We managed all underground work and the craning in the new large switch gear. Our crews set (2) new 8’x8’x8’ concrete manholes and intercepted existing concrete to tie this new gear into the campus system with new 15KV cables.
